Modi

Modi has emerged as one of the circuit's hottest young comedians. Amelia David from Backstage raves, "Modi has a young Sid Caear-esque talent for creating accents and characters making him appeal to a diverse market." His versatile comic styling and quick improvisational skill create a unique comedy experience for everyone, from the hip downtown comedy scene at the Comedy Cellar in New York City to crowds of 6,000 at national corporate events.

Modi has enjoyed great success nationally and internationally. In New York City, he appears regularly at Carolines on Broadway, the Comic Strip, the Comedy Cellar, Gotham Comedy Club, and the Stand-up New York. Nationally, he was a featured comedian at both the Jacksonville Comedy Festival and the Toyota Comedy Festival. Modi was selected to write and hosted the Edgy Awards at Tribeca Film Center honoring Roseanne. He recently had the honor of performing at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., as well as touring with musical legend Neil Sedaka. Modi has appeared with Richard Lewis, Bobcat Goldwait, Wendy Leibman, and Kevin Meany. Modi is notorious for his "Roasts," from the Friar's Club roasts to corporate and private roasts; his merciless comedy is the icing on the cake in honoring the "special guest." As a corporate comedian Modi has worked for AT&T Wireless, Beefeater Gin, and Time Warner. He also tours colelges and clubs throughout the United States. Internationally, Modi was a featured comic at Montreal's "Just for Laughs" comedy festival. Modi has just returned from his second European tour; he also is a favorite headliner at Club Med Cancun.
